How to Build a Fulfilling Personal Brand (My 4-Step Framework)
Building a personal brand is hard.
There’s no question about that.
The real question is, how do we make it easier?
After months of experimenting with 10s of different methods and frameworks, and restructuring my brand multiple times, I finally found the one that works the most effectively.
Let’s break it down:
1. Purpose
Purpose.
It’s the reason your favorite creators are so successful.
They’re in love with what they’re building.
And you can do the exact same while replicating their success.
Ask yourself 2 questions.
- What fulfills you?
Is it helping others carve their path to freedom?
Is it helping others improve their life?
- Do you believe in it?
Is that the impact you’d want to leave on Earth after you die?
Is that what you’d be happy to sacrifice blood, sweat, and tears for?
People notice when you believe in what you’re doing.
Imagine a business where you get paid to do what you love.
That’s the power of purpose.
Think deeply about it.
Don’t skip out.
2. Writing With Impact
Writing with real impact.
Now- what the heck does this mean?
It’s simple.
Writing in a way that AFFECTS the reader.
Whether that be:
~ Leaving them motivated
~ Leaving them with informed
Or even leaving them mad.
How do we do this?
It comes down to 2 factors…
- Idea:
~ Give out fresh value & new advice
~ Write about topics that YOU find interesting
~ Share your own thoughts
- Execution:
~ Hooks that grab attention
~ Make your writing flow & easy to read
~ End with a banging line
Once you’re done,
Make sure to season it with some personality too.
3. Make Clients Come to You
This is the part that matters most.
Why?
At the end of the day, we’re here to build a business.
Not just watch likes go up on a screen.
So, how do we actually attract high-quality leads?
It comes down to 3 things:
- Content that impacts
(as we talked about before)
- A no brainer-offer
An offer that you’re SO confident in,
That you think anyone who doesn’t take it is stupid.
- Getting eyes on your offer
This means adding CTA’s, putting it in your bio, etc.
You got this.
4. Stand Out From the Crowd
This is where most will fail.
It’s the make or break of personal branding.
Sure- you might get a few views.
But if you don’t STAND OUT.
You’ll be making $0.
So, how do we stand out?
Do YOU.
~ Be authentic
~ Show your personality
~ Talk about ideas and topics you like
Don’t niche down-
The niche is you.
Also, do cool sh*t.
People love seeing it.
Bonus Tip: Build in Public
Now- I know, I know,
It sounds scary.
But firstly, we need to understand WHY we do this.
We do this so we attract a QUALITY audience-
An audience that we genuinely love,
And loves us.
So, how do we do this?
By building in public:
~ Share your wins
~ Share what you learn
~ Share your losses
It’s about documenting the journey.
Extra Bonus Tip: Networking the Right Way
Network the right way.
What does this mean?
It means engaging strategically.
Why do we do this?
2 reasons.
- To get your profile out there
- To build valuable connections
How do we do this?
Its simple:
- Make a list of 50-100 creators in your niche
- Set a timer for 20 minutes
- Engage with each list
Do this 1-3x a day.
The trick behind this is being genuine, and adding value to the post.
Not just commenting “I agree”.
Also, don’t treat it like a chore.
Just engage with posts YOU like from creators YOU think are cool.
